Yukon Gold Claims for Sale
Asking $3.2 Million USD for 43 Martin Creek placer gold claims in a region where a 36.6 ounce nugget was found in 1997.
This Is Our Story
In 1979, my father and I pioneered Martin Creek. There was nothing here but untouched land. Today, there is a one-kilometer air strip, a 10-person cabin with solar powered electricity, plus a modern washroom and kitchen. There are 43 placer claims with a water license in good standing. Enough land for at least 20 years of mining for placer gold. Located 100 kms northeast of the Yukon capital city of Whitehorse it is only a 30-minute plane ride.
Please click the video below to learn about the infrastructure and maintenance needed to keep the Martin Creek Mining Company operation in good standing.
Martin Creek Infrastructure
The Martin Creek property is a turnkey operation. The Yukon Water Board has granted a water license to Martin Creek Mining Company for placer gold mining activities. The water license is active and remains in good standing with the Yukon Government.
Land improvements include a 1-kilometer air strip, a 10-person camp, a tool shed, a wood working shed, a settling pond, and access roads along the Martin Creek mining area. A 120-kilometre winter road from Whitehorse to Martin Creek provides hauling access for fuel, supplies and heavy equipment needs.
Today most placer miners enter into equipment leases for heavy machinery for mining. Typical equipment needs are a Front End Loader, a D9 Cat, an Excavator and a Rock Truck. However, the primary need is gold bearing land. Martin Creek and its placer claims are near the discovery of a 36.6 ounce nugget in 1997.
There is another gold bearing waterway, Sylvia Creek, that is in an undeveloped state. There are 14 active placer gold claims on Sylvia Creek with its own active water license. These claims have not been stripped and readied for placer mining at this time.
Sale inquiries are welcomed and a separate price for the Sylvia Creek placer gold claims is available upon request. This is a perfect location to tackle a mining plan without having to adjust to previous workings.
Martin Creek Assessment Report
High resolution Unmanned Aerial Vehicle surveys and geological prospecting were carried out over the Martin and Sylvia Creek placer claims. The main objectives of the work program were to generate high resolution photogrammetry datasets over the entirety of the placer claims and to better understand the bedrock geological controls on gold mineralization.
